Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Join Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School and play a key role in shaping the future of business education. As a Senior Tutor, you'll support and develop innovative, student-centred learning experiences that empower learners to thrive in a fast-evolving business world.

You will work on teaching and curriculum development for business courses, particularly those focused on general business, employability, and career readiness. Working closely with academic colleagues and industry partners, you'll help ensure that our programmes remain current, engaging, and relevant to today's business environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences in BSNS coded courses.
• Supporting the design and delivery of BSNS coded courses that bridges academic learning with practical, career-focused applications.
• Collaborating across the School to support continuous improvement and the development of best practice in teaching and assessment.

You are an experienced and engaging tertiary educator with a passion for preparing students for success in the workplace and beyond.

You will bring:

• A strong teaching record and a commitment to continuous improvement in pedagogy.
• The ability to collaborate across disciplines and with external partners to enhance student employability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage diverse learners.
• A postgraduate qualification in business or a related field (Master's level preferred).
• A tertiary teaching qualification or evidence of professional development in teaching (desirable).
• An understanding of, or willingness to engage with, te ao Māori, te reo Māori, and bicultural perspectives in education.
