He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are seeking Lounge Runners to join our team at a prestigious airline lounge in Auckland International Airport. In this role, you'll ensure the lounge environment is clean, welcoming, and fully stocked, while delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests. You'll play a key role in creating a relaxing and premium experience for travellers. This is a casual position where the hours are "as and when" required basis upon business needs.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly and professional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests.
• Assist with food and beverage service, including table setup, clearing, and replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across lounge areas, including public spaces and service stations.
• Prepare and serve espresso coffee and assist with beverage service, including alcohol.
• Support stock rotation, replenishment, and compliance with food safety standards.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, ideally in a premium environment.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, Police Clearance, and AVSEC clearance.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred.
