The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive our continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our market presence and building lasting relationships within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new prospective clients and projects that align with our capabilities and expertise in scaffolding solutions

  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry

  • Sales & Negotiation: Prepare compelling proposals, present solutions to clients, negotiate contract terms, and successfully close deals
  • Market Analysis: Assess new market opportunities, analyze industry trends, and identify emerging business opportunities in the region
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve company growth objectives

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within industrial or commercial construction
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities with demonstrated success in closing deals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of the construction industry and current market trends
  • Ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and work with sales forecasting tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full New Zealand driver's license essential
