Are you a detail-focused and organised person, with experience in managing and maintaining qualification and course information systems who can hit the ground running and add real value?

We are looking for a Student Management System Specialist to join our team. This role works with others across the organisation, maintaining the academic structure within the student management system and applying quality assurance checks. across the organisation, maintaining the academic structure within the student management system and applying quality assurance checks. This role will require 3 days per week in the office at our Lower Hutt Campus.

Strong organisational and analytical skills are key as well as great technical understanding. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the Student Management System is accurate to support the enrolment and award of learners, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

You will have proven experience at effectively using information technology and information systems in relation to business and educational support, a passion for impacting the lives of everyday people and seeing them achieve their educational goals and dreams. You will also constantly be striving to be the best you can be and pride yourself on the quality of your work.

You will have:

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience working with student management systems, and experience working with Ngā Kete is an advantage.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively and take initiative to resolve issues and enhance existing processes
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise multiple, competing priorities to maximise personal and team effectiveness.
• Well-developed organisational and communication skills with the ability to communicate information and concepts effectively.
• Demonstrated experience and accuracy in data processing, database management and use of Microsoft Suite (Intermediate level skills)
• A relevant tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience
