Production Supervisor

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role in an established and expanding food production business.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to plan, resource, and deliver daily production, leading teams and maintaining safe and efficient site operations.

The role combines practical leadership with real development opportunity. You will gain experience across production planning, people management, and performance reporting, building the skills to manage a site independently in the future.

While the environment is largely outdoors, the focus is on strong process control, team coordination, and meeting production targets through changing seasons.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Plan and coordinate work, labour, and equipment for each phase of production.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
• Monitor output and resource use, escalating issues as needed.
• Support staff development, engagement, and communication.
• Contribute to site planning and continuous improvement.

Experience

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in production or operations.
• Hands-on and confident managing people in dynamic, site-based environments.
• Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in food, manufacturing, or agriculture is an advantage.
• Motivated to grow into a future Operations or Site Management role.
