Purpose of the Role:
We're looking for a Duty Manager who can lead with confidence, charm, and a touch of QT magic. You'll be the face of the hotel during your shift – the problem solver, the vibe keeper, and the ultimate guest experience creator. From welcoming VIPs to managing the unexpected, this role is all about making things happen and making them happen in style.

This is a full-time permanent position at our stunning QT Auckland hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Be the Vibe Keeper: Lead the hotel during your shift, keep the energy high, and make sure every guest feels the QT magic. 


•    Master of Smooth Operations: Oversee Front Office and liaise with other departments so everything runs like clockwork. 


•    VIP Whisperer: Know who's coming and going, prep for big arrivals, and make every guest feel like a rockstar. 


•    Problem-Solver Extraordinaire: Handle requests and complaints with confidence – you're empowered to fix it fast and fabulously. 


•    Sales Superstar: Promote hotel features, upsell like a pro, and turn every interaction into a win for the guest and the hotel. 


•    Safety & Style Guardian: Keep the hotel secure, the team sharp, and the standards sky-high – all while rocking that QT flair.

Who We're Looking For:
You're a natural leader with a love for hospitality and a knack for making things happen. To thrive in this role, you'll need:


•    Minimum 1 year in a Front Office or supervisory role (luxury experience a bonus).


•    Current Manager's Certificate and LCQ.


•    A cool head under pressure and a warm approach to guests.


•    Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.


•    Current New Zealand working rights.
