We are looking for a Travel Consultants at Medasani Limited T/A Eco Travels to work full-time in Auckland.

Travel Consultants are expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.

Payrate : ($23-$24)

Job Role and Responsibilities:

1. Advise passengers on travel or holiday plans, accommodation, transport and places

of interest.

2. Prepare Itinerary, issue tickets, and collect payments.

3. Should advise passengers about their baggage allowance, visa and other requirements as per their itinerary.

4. Should assist clients with procedures for dealing with lost or stolen documents on their flight.

5. Book accommodation, transport tours and cruises.

  1. Basic knowledge to advise clients about passports, insurance and other documents

    required to travel.
  2. Advise passengers about special deals and interest-free options for payments.

Qualifications & Experience

Tertiary (Level 7) qualification in tourism or management (or) More than five years of relevant work experience.

You will be expected to communicate with people who are not so fluent in English as we have a very diverse multicultural base.

Excellent knowledge of the latest tourism trends.

Knowledge of GDS software used in the travel industry.

Good organisational and time-management skills.
