A bit about the role…

In this role not only will you need to have strong personal values which align with ours, you will need a work ethic that is second to none as this will be the true key to your success at Mitre10 MEGA Petone.

As a Checkout / POS Team Member at Mitre10 MEGA Petone you will spend your days helping and making sure the customer experience is amazing from beginning to end. You will also get a chance to learn about our products to make sure you're delivering the best customer experience possible.

You will also need a good level of physical fitness, as you will spend a lot of time on your feet.

Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is looking for a friendly and customer-focused team member to join our busy Checkout team in this Part-time, Summer Fixed Term role.

Our Checkout Team are the final stop in our customers' shopping experience — making sure every customer leaves with a great impression. We're looking for someone who can bring energy, accuracy, and a positive attitude to this important front-line role.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions
  • Confidence using computers and learning new systems quickly

  • A commitment to Health & Safety and keeping our customers and team safe

Retail or POS experience would be an advantage, but what really matters is your enthusiasm and commitment to great service.

We have two Part-Time position, rostered Saturday or Sunday, both fixed term through till the end of February 2026.
