The opportunity

This is a a two-year fixed term role, to backfill a secondment from the team.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic person to be a key advisor on a wide range of policy issues. Your role will enable Council to make informed decisions and plan for a sustainable future, in partnership with its communities.

You will also undertake strategic and corporate planning functions for Council, so that it develops robust plans that promote intergenerational wellbeing.

You will be an exceptional communicator, collaborator and strategic thinker. You will also have a knack for understanding complex information and competing priorities and the skill to summarise and share the key points with a range of audiences.
