Solicitor – General Practice

We are seeking an experienced general practice lawyer to join our firm.

You will manage files independently and act as the primary adviser for clients across a broad range of matters, including private client, property, commercial, trusts and estates and general advisory work. The role offers close collaboration with senior lawyers, meaningful client engagement, and the opportunity to develop broader experience.

You will be eligible to hold a current New Zealand practising certificate and have five years or more post-admission experience in general practice. You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial and property law.
  • Strong technical and drafting skills.
  • The ability to run files autonomously with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
  • A high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • A collaborative approach and strong work ethic.

This role will suit a lawyer seeking responsibility, autonomy, and direct client engagement in a professional and supportive environment.
