The opportunity

Reporting to the Water Maintenance Manager, we are looking for experienced Water Maintenance Supervisor to join the Fulton Hogan team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing water maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to our high standards. You will lead your team by example, fostering a positive culture focused on safety, environmental responsibility, and quality. Onsite, you will support field staff to make sure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.

Relationship management is key - you'll build honest, collaborative partnerships with Fulton Hogan staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders. You'll ensure all subcontractors are inducted and managed in line with FH procedures.

About you

You will have a great work ethic, strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate easily with staff and the public and have excellent time management. Safety is our #1 priority at Fulton Hogan, so you will be a safe operator, always aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and wellbeing of others.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance and/or capital works within a contracting environment
  • Proven relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers in an infrastructure setting
  • Leadership with impact: You lead by example and build a safety-first, quality-driven team culture
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Technical fluency: Comfortable using asset management software, GIS systems, and digital reporting tools
  • Team development mindset: Experience supervising field teams, mentoring staff, and fostering career growth
  • Operational insight: Ability to interpret data to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Resilience and adaptability: Skilled at managing competing priorities under pressure and embracing continuous improvement
  • Full Class 2 licence
