Description

About the role

You will work closely with the Service Desk Team Leader and other members of the IT team & vendors to support, administer, and maintain IT services and applications.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Providing first contact support and resolution for service desk calls 
  • Administering and maintaining IT services and applications for users 
  • Installing and upgrading software, installing hardware and configuring systems and applications.  
  • Managing assigned service requests to ensure they are actioned within the associated SLA's  
  • Providing end users with a high level of customer service 
  • Available to be on call

This is a permanent position for 80 hours per fortnight and is located at Corporate Services, Auckland CBD.



Skills And Experiences

About you

You will pair your technical skills with a customer-centric focus to get the job done while demonstrating the following skills and experience: 

  • IT degree or post-grad diploma/certification  
  • Experience in an information technology support role 
  • Microsoft Office 365 administration experience, incl. Teams, Email and SharePoint advantageous 
  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices 
  • Experienced in the use of Service desk systems and practices
