Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
As a Postdoctoral Fellow in Social Innovation at Te Kotahi Research Institute, you will lead and contribute to research that strengthens the well-being of iwi, Māori, and Indigenous communities. This role involves conducting high-quality research on social impact across health, social services, and community development, while integrating mātauranga Māori into policy and innovation. You will collaborate with iwi/Māori organisations, facilitate co-design workshops, and share knowledge through publications, conferences, and teaching opportunities. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll help shape solutions that make a real difference for communities in Aotearoa.
Salary will be in the range of $90,125 to $95,500.00 per year (pro-rata) based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offered on a two-year fixed-term basis to support a key research project. The position is located at our Hillcrest Campus.
