As a Light Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. You will work with a team of professionals committed to delivering top-notch customer service and quality workmanship.

The role

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs on passenger vehicles
• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicle models
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Perform warranty and recall repairs as per manufacturer guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support
• Collaborate with colleagues to efficiently solve technical challenges
• Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used

Skills sought

• Trade qualification as a Light Automotive Technician (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with a franchise dealership brand (preferred)
• Solid experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Able to work to deadlines
• A genuine enthusiasm for automobiles and a desire to stay updated on industry trends
• A focus on high standards of customer service
