We are seeking a Planning and Procurement Manager to contribute to our team's success. Located in Hawke's Bay, we are a dynamic contract manufacturer specialising in bottled UHT beverages and are committed to delivering excellence across all aspects of our operation.

Our ideal candidate is process-minded with great organisational skills, loves details, and thrives under deadlines & pressure. Our team is lean but effective and we're seeking a highly motivated, solution driven person who brings and adds value with experience, a can-do attitude, motivation and who loves to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferable. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. Shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Production Scheduling and the Weekly Production Plans
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
  • Track and analyse key supply chain metrics to identify areas of improvement
  • Stock/Inventory Control – Monitor and optimise stock levels
  • Forecast stock and raw material requirements
  • Manage and action MRP to meet production demands
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison (when required)
  • Resolve issues promptly and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary education in related field
  • Proven experience in procurement within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail-orientated with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Right to work in New Zealand and Current New Zealand Driver License and Own Car
