Role Overview:

Role 1:  Full-Time Medical Receptionist

This exciting role offers 40 hours per week, with a varied schedule across Monday to Friday at the Hastings Health Centre.

Rose 2:  Part Time Medical Receptionist

This exciting role offers 24 hours per week with a varied schedule across three consecutive days Monday to Friday at the Havelock North Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to our patients, whānau, and clinical staff in a busy, patient-centric environment
• Efficiently manage appointments, patient inquiries, and day-to-day administrative tasks
• Handle invoicing and cash transactions with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate advanced IT skills and problem-solving abilities to support reception operations
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture that is dedicated to high-quality healthcare delivery

The Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and staff with empathy and professionalism
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with invoicing and cash handling, ensuring financial transactions are accurate and timely
• Proficiency in IT systems, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Experience with Medtech Evolution is a plus, but not essential (training provided)
• A positive, 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery
