**Medical Receptionist - The Doctors Hastings / Waipawa**
- GP Clinic group in Hastings and Waipawa, Hawkes Bay
- Permanent Full Time
- 38 hours per week - 4 days 9.5 hours 0800 - 1800 hrs and a 5th day rostered off
- No weekend shifts

Experience desired but not necessary. What is necessary is outrageously good customer service skills, a great attitude with an aptitude to learn and to work well as part of a team. We expect a positive attitude, calm demeanor, and compassionate and caring nature from all our colleagues. You will be expected to be open to learning new tasks and have an eye for detail and accuracy. A great sense of humor and a high level of empathy is a must. Based out of Hastings we are part of a group of three practices and we are looking for someone flexible to work out of Hastings but also cover our Waipawa practice.

**This is a permanent full time role, working between Monday to Friday.**

**About the position and you**:
As a receptionist you will report to the Reception Team Lead and be part of a team that:

- Welcomes patients into the medical centre
- Thrives in an extremely busy environment
- Manages incoming calls from patients and providers.
- Manages appointment bookings and payments handling for the practice.
