Smart Environmental, is a leader in commercial recycling and waste collections. We work on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities across New Zealand. Acquired by Blue Planet our mission is to divert waste from landfill, and with a large fleet of collection vehicles and line haul operations, we are committed to driving sustainability for the communities and businesses we serve.

As we enter the Summer Peak season, we are looking for additional drivers to support us through this busy time of year. If you are a competent Class 2 driver, we want to hear from you. Starting early December, you must be able to work through to end February.

Your Role:


• Operate vehicles safely for recycling and refuse collection.


• Deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to collection schedules.


• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain logs (Eroad /Logbook).

Role Details:


• Fixed Term full time starting early December to end February


• 40 hours per week from 1pm - 9.30pm Monday to Friday

What We're Looking For:


• NZ Class 2 driver's licence holder (experience with rear load collection vehicles is a plus, but we provide full training).


• Must be able to work in NZ. i.e. (work visa)


• Confident with using technology (phone/ipad).


• Good level of physical fitness


• Comfortable with working outdoors in all types of weather
