About the Team:

The Finance Team is responsible for the overall
financial management and support processes within Airways, including
transaction accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger support to
business units, financial IT systems, procurement, property management, capital
planning, statutory reporting and management reporting.

About the Role:

Parental-leave fixed term full-time Accounts
Receivable Administrator role as part of our Auckland based team. Ideally
starting in February 2026 until mid-February 2027.

This role is based in The Quad (Leonard
Isitt Drive, Auckland Airport) which is
within walking distance from Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Jetts Fitness,
cafes, take-away shops, and restaurants.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead,
you'll ensure the timely and accurate recording of Accounts Receivable
transactions.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Timely processing
    and QA of invoices and credit notes generated
  • Providing a quality
    service to the corporation's customers both internally and externally
  • Monitoring and
    analysing all error records generated by billing system throughout the month,
    through investigation and discussion with system owners and operational staff
  • Resolving and
    correcting incorrectly entered and billed flight data records identified by
    operational staff and/or customers in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the
    integrity of the accounts receivable ledger, finance system customer chart,
    processes and systems
  • Providing support
    to non-finance user-groups
  • Ensuring customer'
    information security complies with PCI requirements.

About You:

Due to the nature of the role and our operations,
you'll be comfortable working in a complex, regulated environment and hold exceptional
communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence others.

Additionally, you will have:

  • At
    least two years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role or function
  • High
    level of competence in the MS Office 365 suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and
    Teams
  • FMIS
    skills, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance
  • Demonstrated
    interpersonal skills and high EQ, with the ability to work with diverse teams
    and people. Culturally sensitive, considerate and confident when dealing with
    others
  • Ability
    to work in a dynamic business environment, collaborate with people internally
    and externally, show resilience and agility, take ownership and focus on
    delivering successful business outcomes.

Beneficial:

Experience in working in a complex financial environment, preferably in an
State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) or commercial environment.
