Our brand-new Nelson branch is up and running, and we're looking for a Showroom / Sales / Quoting Person to join our small, dynamic team, full-time.

What you'll do

This is a varied, hands-on role where everyone in the team does whatever needs doing. You'll combine showroom sales, quoting, and customer relationship management to help the team achieve their targets.

Your day may include:

  • Welcoming homeowners, cabinetmakers, builders and designers into the showroom and helping them find the perfect solution for their projects
  • Reviewing building and joinery plans, drawings and specifications
  • Preparing accurate quotations and sales orders
  • Following up quotes to convert opportunities into sales
  • Managing samples and ensuring the showroom always looks professional
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade customers
  • Visiting existing clients and prospecting for new business opportunities
  • Supporting the sales team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Handling incoming calls and general enquiries

About you

You're friendly, confident, and thrive in a busy, people-focused environment. You love sales and enjoy seeing a target met.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven customer service or sales experience (experience in a similar role the industry a bonus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence with computers, numbers and quoting systems
  • Great time-management and organisational skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • A full NZ driver's licence (company vehicle available for work use)
