Join us as Civil Labourer in Greymouth  

We have an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join our busy Civil and Construction team based in Greymouth as a labourer. In this role, you will assist in building structures, working with a range of materials including timber, steel and concrete on commercial contracts of varied scale across the West Coast region.

In addition to the above you will:

• Perform general labouring duties within the Civil and Construction department, as directed by the foreman.
• Support the team onsite, while maintaining high safety standards.
• Help to keep all worksites, including plant and equipment clean and tidy.
• Follow site safety procedures by wearing the required personal protective equipment and attending all pre-start and tailgate meetings.
• Take part in training to assist in upskilling you in your role.
• Utilise basic hand and power tools and occasionally operate machinery under supervision, e.g. Compactors and Jack Hammers.

We're looking for someone with:  

• A class 1 driver's licence. 
• Flexible to work away from home as required.
• A passion for completing all jobs safely, on time and to a high-quality standard.
• A strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
• The ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment. 
• Recent and relevant experience in civil and structural works is preferred.
