The Donut Factory is a food manufacturer based in Papamoa.

We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our business and be part of our success.

We are currently looking for a Qualified Baker to join us at our Papamoa site working Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will require a background in Plant based Manufacturing with a strong understanding of machinery and process. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and you will become an integral member of the manufacturing team ensuring every batch is produced with the highest quality and consistency.

Key accountabilities of the role include:


• Understand the ingredients used in the baking process to be able to make adjustments to batches to provide quality and consistency


• Learn to understand and master the production lines making the difference between good and great


• Make an active contribution to the team environment through sharing knowledge and collaborating with others to help build team performance


• Adhering to food safety procedures and company policies


• Ensuring machines run in an efficient and uninterrupted manner


• Meeting production targets in a busy work environment

To be successful in this role you will need:


• At least 3 years experience in plant baking role


• Health and Safety certificates (preferred)


• Food Safety and Quality certificates (preferred)


• Strong knowledge of work health and safety with demonstrated experience in previous workplaces


• Passion for baking with a willingness to continually develop your learning


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment


• Strong literacy and numeracy skills


• A positive work attitude and professional manner
