Our client is a long-standing, well-established demolition company with a strong reputation across commercial, industrial and residential projects throughout New Zealand. Their asbestos division is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Supervisor to help lead safe, compliant and high-quality work on every site.

About the Role

As our Asbestos Supervisor, you'll take ownership of asbestos removal and demolition operations, ensuring jobs run smoothly, safely, and to industry-best standards. You'll be the key point of leadership on site and a trusted representative of our company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising Class A and/or Class B asbestos removal projects
  • Leading site setups, toolbox talks, inductions and safety checks
  • Coordinating demolition crews and managing daily workflow
  • Ensuring full compliance with all regulations and documentation
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, engineers and local authorities
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members
  • Completing accurate reports, site records and sign-offs

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A and/or Class B Asbestos Supervisor Certification
  • Experience in asbestos removal and demolition
  • Strong leadership with the ability to drive performance
  • A high standard of professionalism, safety and integrity
  • Confident communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, organised and able to run a site independently
  • Full NZ driver licence
