Beauty/Nail Technician

BAGIYAL SERVICES LIMITED is seeking Beauty/Nail Technicians to join their team in the Waikato region. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about providing exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, acrylic or SNS enhancements, nail shaping, buffing, cuticle care, and safe removal techniques.
Ensure all nail treatments are carried out to high professional standards while maintaining client comfort and satisfaction.
Advise clients on suitable nail care routines, products, and maintenance based on individual needs.
Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation procedures for tools, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Provide beauty services within the scope of a beauty therapist, such as eyebrow shaping, tinting, and basic skincare services, to support the business's beauty and nail service offerings.
Deliver advanced facial treatments such as deep-cleansing facials, exfoliation, steaming, extraction, hydration treatments, and mask application tailored to individual skin types.
Carry out professional makeup services for events, day/evening looks, and special occasions, ensuring flawless application, colour matching, and long-lasting results.
Conduct client consultations to understand needs, preferences, allergies, or contraindications before providing any treatment.
Assist in promoting salon services, recommending aftercare products, and contributing to customer retention.
Maintain accurate client records, appointment schedules, and treatment notes.
Manage stock levels by monitoring product usage and informing management of replenishment needs.
Participate in ongoing training and skill development to stay updated with emerging beauty and nail techniques.
Support daily salon operations by ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
Uphold the business's service standards by delivering treatments with professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a level 4 qualification in a related field.
Availability to work on weekends as required.
Strong customer service and client-care skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supported by excellent interpersonal skills.
Good hand–eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
Able to work well in a team environment and independently as needed.
