Reporting to the HR Manager, this role as a Health & Safety Advisor. You'll provide first-line advice and hands-on support for health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives - helping us build a proactive safety culture across the business.

You'll manage all aspects of Health and Safety, injury support, and compliance activities, while driving continuous improvement through data insights and coaching. By working closely with leaders, team members, and external partners, you'll play a key role in strengthening our proactive safety culture and promoting wellbeing. This role covers both NZ and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for health, safety, and injury management queries
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the H&S Committee
  • Induct new employees into the company ensuring they are aware of Health and Safety and its importance
  • Support incident investigations and maintain the risk register
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and mandatory training
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisory position, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Safety, or a relevant business discipline
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary health and safety strategies and practices
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot)
  • Understanding of H&S legislation and case law in an ANZ context
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder liaison, and time management skills
  • Initiative, analytical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement
