Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington is looking for a dedicated Reservations Manager to join our friendly, hands-on team at our central yet peaceful location on the edge of the Panmure Lagoon.

About You
- Must have at least 24 months experience as a Reservations Manager
- Strong knowledge of:
- PMS. If you have Suite 8 experience, great - but more important is the ability to pick up new systems quickly (as part of an upcoming brand transition, we'll be moving to a new system)
- Channel management systems
- A passion for customer service, high standards of service and excellent attention to detail.
- Is confident and experienced in all facets of Reservations duties.
- Understands the wider complexities of a Hotel + MICE environment
- Calm under pressure
- Have the ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude
- Great communication skills to ensure all key stakeholders are kept up-to-date
- Are available to start as soon as possible.
- Must have the right to work in NZ
About the Job - You'll:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department
- Ensure all bookings are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with hotel standards and policies
- Manage room inventory, rate loading, and distribution across all channels (OTA, direct, GDS)
- Maximise revenue opportunities through effective yield management
- Handle group bookings, special requests, and VIP arrangements
- Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Conference, PPG Revenue, and Operations teams
- Analyse daily pick-up, forecast trends, and provide reports as required
