About the role and team We are looking for an experienced project delivery and/or product management specialist to support the strategy and growth of the project, programme and portfolio management (P3M) community, while embedding advanced AI solutions into our work.As a member of our AI Pod in the Artificial Intelligence & Data team you will play an active role leading delivery of our projects and sprints that deliver generative and agentic tools into the hands of our practitioners and our clients, combining traditional agile delivery and product management excellence with the integration of generative and agentic AI technologies.The position is an exciting role that will lead a team of technical and business specialists in business analysis, requirements definition, solution design, delivery & testing, and deployment of generative and agentic AI solutions on cloud platforms and enterprise digital systems.This position provides the opportunity to work hands-on with Deloitte teams and clients to define requirements, design solutions, deploy digital and AI products, and drive continuous improvement based on real end-user feedback and business outcomes. You will also help deliver the tools and accelerators our consulting teams will use to embed AI in their everyday work. Job Description A week in the life of an AI Delivery Lead might look like: Leading and shaping AI projects or sprints from concept through to design, delivery and handover. Full responsibility at the engagement or sprint delivery level for personnel, finance, reporting, planning and project delivery.Acting as a Product Manager, delivering continuous improvement of generative and agentic AI products and platforms based on end user/customer value.Advisory on the implementation, adoption, or improvement of Project Delivery, Product Management, and effective delivery techniques, including the use of generative and agentic AI solutions.Leading the agile delivery, testing, and deployment of generative and agentic AI solutions, ensuring these platforms are continuously improved based on business needs and user value.Collaborating with cross-functional Deloitte teams to identify business requirements and develop AI solutions that meet those requirements. Providing project steering and advisory services, guiding clients and Deloitte on navigating the complexities of AI projects and sprint delivery as a trusted advisor.Managing client connections and internal Deloitte relationships across teams, ensuring value delivery and building enduring relationshipsImproving services, processes, and people, using global Deloitte AI resources and trends.Growing team talent through management and development responsibilities, including recruitment efforts. You are someone with: You are an experienced professional with around with around 10 years of relevant experience in technology management, strategy, business analysis or a consulting environment.You are comfortable and well versed in leading cross-functional business and technical teams, including collaboration with AI specialists, engineers, and digital transformation experts, to deliver integrated project outcomes.Deep expertise in agile methodologies, lean portfolio management, maturity benchmarking, and continuous improvement.Strong understanding of generative and agentic AI technologies, cloud platforms, enterprise digital systems, and the deployment and enhancement of AI-driven products.Capability to bridge business analysis and technical delivery, ensuring requirements, design, testing, and improvement of both traditional and AI-enabled solutions.You are comfortable managing multiple projects or streams of work.You have strong stakeholder management skills and have experience presenting to senior executives and leaders.Your niche is building relationships and being the trusted advisor for your client.You are passionate about modern technology and their applications in the business world.You have earned a university degree, and you are well versed in both technology and business fields.You have strong communication, synthesis and analysis skills and are able to articulate often complex concepts in a simple and straightforward way.You will have the ability to establish, build and maintain successful relationships and are adept at facing clients.Your self-motivation and drive will match that of our team.You pride yourself on providing the same high-quality service that is expected and delivered from one of New Zealand's largest and most respected professional services firms.
