Background:
A job for a curtain and blind maker involves tasks like measuring, cutting, and sewing fabrics to create custom window treatments, as well as installing finished products like curtains, blinds, and tracks in homes and commercial buildings. Key responsibilities include customer consultations, collaborating on design, and ensuring proper fit and function.
We are looking to hire staff with the willingness to share their experience and knowledge from within the curtain and blind making industry. We are a rapidly growing business that will appreciate your knowledge and experience.

We will provide further training for this job, however you should have some experience from within the curtain and blind manufacturing industry.
Core responsibilities
- Manufacturing: Measure, cut, and sew fabrics for custom curtains, drapes, and blinds.
- Installation: Fit and install window treatments, tracks, and hardware to client specifications and company standards.
- Consultation: Work with customers to discuss designs, select fabrics, and take measurements.
- Quality Control: Ensure products are aesthetically pleasing and properly installed, taking photos and re-measuring if issues arise.
- Maintenance: Conduct service calls and corrective actions for installed products.
Required skills and qualifications
- Technical skills: Ability to use tools for measuring, cutting, and installation. For manufacturing roles, sewing skills are essential.
- Attention to detail: A high level of accuracy is needed for precise measurements and finished product quality.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to consult with clients and coordinate with internal teams.
- Problem-solving: Ability to address and resolve on-site issues.
- Physical fitness: Many roles involve physically demanding tasks, such as working on your feet and handling materials.
- Organizational skills: Being well-organized and able to manage your workload effectively.
- Professionalism: Reliability, honesty, and a tidy work ethic are often required.
- Driving: A valid driver's license is often necessary for on-site installation roles.

- Experience in the industry or construction.
