We are looking for a Night Cleaner to help and support our team based in Newmarket, Auckland.

Shift Timings:

Monday-Friday pm-7.30am = 8 paid hours/shift x 5 @ $26.25/hour.

You must be available for all shifts.

About you:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to H&S policies.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
  • Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check
  • Physically fit to do the job - it's hard work - but we love it
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work - due to no public transport at this time.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.

About the role:

  • Plan for safe and efficient cleaning activities in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Being in charge of a daily routine that includes vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces/edges, clearing bins and removing waste.
  • Cleaning the windows, bathrooms, and toilets as well as restocking the supplies of consumables like hand soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the Mall's facilities, including escalators, elevators, and other equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant department.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are stored securely and used safely.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and policies.
