Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is your new hub for South Island exploration. With a convenient location in the Remarkables Park precinct just 5 minutes from Queenstown Airport, our full-service hotel has a range of modern facilities to make your stay extra comfortable while you create memories in the heart of New Zealand's world-famous alpine playground

We take our housekeeping standards seriously. So, we're searching for 3 Housekeeping Attendants with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you'll ensure the rooms are always fresh, welcoming & clean for guests to relax in after their day exploring Queenstown. You will have an important part to play in keeping our 182 rooms in top condition so an eye for detail and ability to notice if anything needs fixing will be key for this role.

Basic duties of the role include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, stripping & making beds and restocking supplies & amenities in the room.

Duties may also include keeping the public areas clean or assisting in the laundry to ensure we have clean linen ready for our rooms.

What we need from you

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Ability to lift up to 20kgs & can be on your feet all day long - it is a physical role
  • Flexibility to work a range of shift times and days - including weekends, and public holidays.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
  • Good English skills are preferred, but basic English is acceptable
  • Team player and friendly.
