At Securecom, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch onsite support that embodies our core values. We're looking for an experienced Modern Desktop Field Engineer to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the Build Master
    and own the Modern Desktop build process and perfect the deployments across all our clients.
  • Be the superhero
    who manages, diagnoses, and resolves incidents and problems within SLA timeframes, including some vendor liaison/management. Capes are optional, but highly encouraged
  • Punctuality is key
    Ensure all customer visits and remote tasks are adhered to punctually. No time travel required, just good old-fashioned punctuality
  • Spread happiness
    Build onsite relationships and ensure customers are happy. Smiles and high-fives are part of the job description
  • Continuous improvement
    Keep client systems and processes in tip-top shape. It's like being a personal trainer for technology
  • Communicate like a pro
    Keep Stakeholders in the loop on actions taken and outstanding tasks after each site visit. Think of it as your daily tech diary
  • Master of installations
    Perform a wide variety of installation, configuration, and upgrading of workstations, servers, and related hardware and software. You'll be the tech wizard everyone looks up to
  • Ticket master
    Accurately and effectively manage tickets and meet required SLAs with daily time sheeting in the Securecom ticketing management system. You'll be the ticketing maestro

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in Modern Desktop (Intune, Autopilot and hybrid environments) design and implementation, system engineering, onsite end user support and Teams Meeting Room management. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge with Hybrid environments, Autopilot, Intune, Microsoft Desktop operating systems, Office 365, EntraID, and other Azure services. Excellent customer service, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential. An interest in or exposure to Telephony/PABX products, networking, and switches and routers would be advantageous.
