There is no other school in New Zealand like ours, offering a second chance for ākonga to re-engage in NCA. The Secondary Tertiary High School is different to a conventional mainstream school setting; our pastoral care and wrap around services support ākonga learning and achievement in a holistic learning environment. We manaaki our ākonga for whom mainstream high schools are not meeting their needs with a high level of pastoral care and dedicated teaching time, and plenty of whānau involvement to support ākonga be successful.

- An ability to teach NCEA te reo Māori from Years 11 to 12.
