Our culture is grounded in our values, collaboration, care, professionalism and doing the right thing. When you join Naylor Love, you will feel supported, encouraged and part of a team that genuinely backs your growth. We are shaping the future of construction in Aotearoa. Come be part of it.
We are now looking for a Bid Writer to help us tell our story and win exciting new work. We are flexible on level. If you bring strong writing skills, an eye for detail and the ability to turn technical information into a clear and engaging narrative, we would love to hear from you.
*What you will do:*
- work closely with a friendly, experienced Auckland team
- craft engaging bids and submissions for projects from 1 million to 250 million

- explore new formats and tools, including AI, to modernise and sharpen our submissions
- collaborate with preconstruction and project teams to gather accurate information.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Manage the full bid process from planning through to submission
- Tailor submissions to each client's requirements in a deadline driven environment
- Write, edit and structure content with accuracy and clarity
- Coordinate timelines and ensure submissions are delivered ahead of deadlines
- Maintain CVs, project profiles, policies and other collateral
- Proofread and check the quality of all outgoing content

- Contribute to best practice within the team and wider business
We are looking for the following:
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to make information clear and engaging
- A natural storyteller who can simplify construction content
- Someone curious, adaptable and meticulous
- A quick learner who enjoys problem solving
- Previous experience in construction, design, communications or a related field.
We are open to a range of backgrounds. The right attitude, writing skill and willingness to learn construction go a long way
Why join Naylor Love
