About the Role

Join Ricoh New Zealand as a Workshop, Delivery and Installation Engineer, where your technical skills and customer-first mindset will shine. Based at our National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Mount Wellington, you'll be the face of Ricoh on-site, delivering, installing, and setting up cutting-edge devices for our clients. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and refurbishing equipment, ensuring every customer interaction is smooth, professional, and memorable.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, and set up Ricoh machines and accessories at customer sites

  • Provide introductory training to customers on Ricoh devices and software

  • Install devices onto client networks, including software and driver setup

  • Diagnose and resolve network-related printing and scanning issues

  • Perform maintenance, break-fix, and field modifications on Ricoh equipment

  • Carry out workshop duties including refurbishments and stock control

  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold health & safety standards

  • Support other branches when required

Skills, Attributes & Experience Needed to be Successful in this Role

  • Strong technical aptitude and experience in the electromechanical industry

  • Experience in the printer industry (preferred)

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Sound IT knowledge, including MS Office and internet-based tools

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues

  • Valid and clean NZ Driver's Licence

  • Comfortable driving a van and using stair walker

  • Physically capable of moving machines safely

  • Detail oriented with strong time management and admin skills

  • Adaptable and solution focused in unfamiliar situations
