We're looking for a practical, tech-minded team player to join our Wellington team as a Workshop & Installation Engineer. You'll be delivering and installing Ricoh devices, helping customers get set up, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

A bit about the role

You'll install machines and accessories at customer sites, provide basic training, and troubleshoot any tech issues. Back at base, you'll help with machine maintenance, refurbishments, and warehouse duties. It's a varied role with room to grow and make a real impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver and install Ricoh devices and accessories

  • Set up machines on client networks and install software/drivers

  • Provide basic customer training and support

  • Diagnose and fix network-related printing/scanning issues

  • Carry out refurbishments from time to time

  • Keep accurate records and complete paperwork

  • Support other branches when needed

  • Seek and suggest process improvements

  • Take care of company gear

Skills, attributes & experience

  • Great customer service and communication skills

  • Technical aptitude and electromechanical experience

  • Solid IT knowledge and confidence with MS Office

  • Valid NZ driver's licence

  • Physically capable and safety-conscious

  • Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Strong admin and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English
