Inventory Assistant – Join Our High-Performance Team

We are looking for an exceptional Inventory Assistant to join our team — someone who brings expertise, curiosity, and the confidence to challenge the status quo.

This role is critical in ensuring our inventory data is accurate, our processes are robust, and our customers receive the best possible outcomes. We're not just looking for someone to follow systems, we want someone who will help elevate them.

Maintaining a high Service Level – DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) is a key daily measure for our store, and this role plays an essential part in ensuring we consistently meet and exceed this standard. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong process thinking directly contribute to our ability to deliver outstanding results for our customers and suppliers.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough product audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify variances, investigate root causes, and partner with the team to resolve issues.
  • Challenge and refine existing processes using your prior experience and fresh perspective.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to maintain high standards of accuracy and service.
  • Use SAP and Excel to analyse, reconcile, and maintain inventory data.
  • Support operational tasks and maintain a safe, organised working environment.

What You Bring

  • An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence in manipulating and analysing data in Excel.
  • A process-focused approach and the ability to question and challenge constructively.
  • Clear, consistent communication and the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong numerical ability and sound judgement.
  • A solid understanding of SAP in an operational setting.
  • Physically fit and able to meet the role's demands.
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Prior experience in inventory or product auditing (advantageous).
