Position Available: Refrigeration Service Technician

Role Overview: We're seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician with a broad background in the commercial refrigeration sector to join our dedicated team in Auckland. While experience with CO2 systems is advantageous, it's not essential as training will be provided. As a professional technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing operational support and hands-on service to our valued customers. This role is a full time permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical and operational diagnostics of refrigeration systems.
  • Demonstrate hands-on leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Show versatility and adaptability in various service scenarios.
  • Diagnose problems and provide effective solutions to clients and the company.
  • Execute preventative programmed maintenance and assist in small installations.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and team leadership skills.
  • Hold NZ Refrigeration Qualifications or Equivalent.
  • Possess a NZ full driver's license or International driving permit.
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing all major brands and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and diagnosing from technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of NZ health & safety practices.
  • Experience with CO2 systems would be beneficial.
