We are looking for fun, fit and strong people to join our wonderful Food and Beverage team, distributing goods to, from and with in the Ski Areas.

Working at Mt Ruapehu, you'll be surrounded by like-minded people who are flexible, willing to have a crack where needed, work hard and then ski/ride even harder

Everyone here shares a passion for the mountain and the surrounding region because of the endless possibilities for adventure. Whether it's because you love nature, the truly unique world heritage area, or the obvious draw card of skiing/riding the volcano, there are opportunities for real fun at every turn.

THE DAY TO DAY

This position is responsible for transferring goods throughout the ski area facilities. You will need to:

  • Accurately receive and store goods in the appropriate location and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure picked orders are prepared for transportation as per departmental guidelines i.e., special requirements for particular food stuffs.
  • Deliver all goods and equipment as required, using the appropriate transportation methods.
  • Complete all associated paperwork accurately, neatly and within set timeframes.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

As this work can be physically demanding, you will need to be fit and able to lift heavy goods. Good communication skills, and a valid New Zealand Driver's License or the International equivalent are essential. You must have an understanding of how to drive on winter roads and feel confident driving to varying road conditions, including snow. A successful candidate will also have the following:
