Who are InZone Industries?

InZone Industries manufactures and installs insulation for residential and commercial properties all around New Zealand. We have two sides to our company – Mammoth Manufacturing which produces our insulation products, and Brightr who install our insulation into Kiwi homes.

As a carbon-reduced company, InZone Industries uses up to 15,600 recycled plastic bottles for every 100 square meters of our insulation made. We are a part of the Warmer Kiwi Homes program with EECA that provides families with a warm and dry home.

About the role:

This is permanent, full-time position, based in Tauranga. As a Sales Advisor, you'll be on the front line of our customer experience. From the first appointment to post-sale support, you'll guide homeowners through tailored solutions and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving revenue, margin, and appointment targets
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences with every engagement (face-to-face, phone, or email)
  • Completing accurate home assessments, measurements, and providing expert advice
  • Staying up to date with product knowledge and training
  • Maintaining clean, professional self-presentation and vehicle standards
  • Minimising reschedules (callbacks) and securing repeat/referral business
  • Maintaining accurate records in Odoo and completing online modules as needed
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Admin, Operations) to support the full sales journey
  • Occasionally assisting with door knocking (cold calling) and working alongside one of our local sales team members to help generate new customer bookings and promote our services in the community.

What we're looking for:

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven experience in face-to-face sales or customer advisory roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated and target-driven approach
  • Accuracy and professionalism in reporting and documentation
  • The ability to work collaboratively across departments

Bonus if you also have:

  • Knowledge of insulation or energy efficiency solutions
  • Experience using Odoo or other CRMs
  • Understanding of local market conditions and customer segment
