Progressive Meats are looking for staff who are a cut above the rest

We are a leading-edge processor of Lamb and Beef in the sunny Hawke's Bay.

We are looking for experienced Beef Boners/Beef Butchers for full time, permanent employment as Meat Process Workers. At least 3 - 5 years experience required. Needed to start as soon as possible.

Start time Monday to Friday:

  • Beef Boning Day Shift 6 am

This roles requires:

  • Minimum 3 years beef boning experience in a production line
  • Able to bone all fore quarter and hindquarter cuts
  • Able to trim cuts ready for packing
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Comply with operating procedures and food safety requirements
  • Accurately follow prescribed cutting lines to maximize yield
  • Work as part of a team
  • Wear all company issued PPE and comply with Health & Safety requirements
  • Own transport
