Experion Care NZ is a growing Age Care operator in NZ. Experion Care currently owns six specialized Residential Care facilities in the North and South Island. Wensley House-Rest Home and Retirement Village, Nelson is a part of our group which has a strong family and community focus. About the Roles

At Wensley House, we are looking for:

Casual Caregivers.

As the successful candidate, you must have a certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent) and/or at least 2 years' experience in caregiving, have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our rest home a wonderful place to live and work.

About you

Experience preferred but not essential.

• Capable of managing challenging behaviours.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Must be available for Night Shift, if needed.
• High energy, enthusiasm and a team player.
• Be Flexible and have a reliable transport.
• Be punctual, reliable and honest.

Key skills required

• Dynamic and team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• You must be empathetic but also firm and resilient.
• Be able to engage with family and be culturally sensitive.
• All applicants must have a valid work visa, New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
