About the role:

This is your chance to join the Norwood team at our Palmerston North dealership. We are looking for an experienced Parts Salesperson to contribute to the commercial success of our dealership through their success in procuring and selling parts while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Be the first point of contact for customers needing parts and advice
• Use your technical skills to source parts and provide practical solutions
• Build strong relationships by keeping customers informed, managing expectations and delivering what you promise
• Purchase orders and invoicing, managing inventory and maintaining accurate information in our dealer management system
• Support the team by prepping machinery, delivering parts, and assisting with general parts tasks

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience interpreting and selling agricultural/automotive parts is preferred
• A problem solver with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good technical knowledge of machinery and parts or a keen interest to learn.
• Accurate data entry and solid computer skills, with the ability to quickly pick up new systems
• Great time management and an organised, methodical approach to tasks
