We have a busy time ahead and we're looking for an experienced consultant to provide technical design, issue resolution and project delivery. Solutions Engineers are responsible for maintaining customer's on-prem and cloud infrastructure, and for working across our services, software and sales specialists to ensure the successful management of client's IT systems.

About the role
You will contribute to the development of national service standards by working with peers in our branches throughout New Zealand and readily sharing your knowledge with junior team members to build our collective capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
Ultimately, your role is to ensure customers achieve their business outcomes through the provision of excellent technical solutions.
What you will do
You will conduct discovery and pre-sales, working closely with our sales team, draft and deliver presentations, demonstrate company products, and create customised solutions. You will take ownership of customers' environments, define their roadmaps and deliver successful projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- developing positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- advising and influencing our customers, to ensure a strong programme of work
- providing pre-sales, requirement analysis, project delivery and post-implementation support
- resolving complex technical problems and investigations into the root cause and solution improvements, and
- sharing your knowledge with team members and contributing to ensuring a high standard across the team.
What you will bring
You'll be enthusiastic, efficient, detailed and keen to complete work to a high standard. Ideally, you'll have previous experience as a consultant, with a broad skillset and a track record of staying up to date on the latest technologies.
We also need your:
- expertise with infrastructure, applications, cloud and modern workplace solutions
- excellent communication and relationship skills, whether connecting in-person, in writing or online
- first-rate planning, organising and prioritising skills, and
- demonstrable ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
