Warehouse Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate warehouse and logistics supervisor. This is a hands-on supervisory role in a fast paced, fun environment. You will naturally lead by example, whilst overseeing and making sure your team, the systems and our sought-after range of products stay on track.

We are looking for a reliable proactive person, with high attention to detail and accuracy. You will be a master at multitasking and a champion of safety and people first. The primary focus of this role is to confidently lead a team of four, overseeing our daily warehouse operations from pick and pack to dispatch and delivery, inventory management and meeting the daily business priorities.

This role is based at our Mount Eden premises and is a full-time salaried position with working hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday. We offer a great team atmosphere and working environment, and generous staff discounts.

Your key responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Ensuring our specialist and fragile products are accurately picked, packed and dispatched
• Stock management, including regular stock taking, date checking and rotation
• Assisting with processing of inwards goods and the processing of returns and credits
• Ensuring the warehouse is HSE, MAF and NZFA compliant
• Working with the Purchasing & Logistics Manager to ensure containers are received on time and devanned in a timely manner
• Liaising with contractors and courier companies

Your background, experience, and attributes will include:

• Experience in warehousing, logistics and stock management (minimum of 5 years with some leadership experience)
• Health and safety experience
• Be a team player and a natural leader
• Have excellent attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
• Be physically fit and strong with a great attitude and care for what you do
• Good computer literacy in a variety of programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current fork hoist and full, clean driver's license is essential
• MPI transitional facilities operator and/or approved persons certificate is preferred
