About the role
Providing outstanding planning service across designated client accounts; offering and implementing innovative communication strategies designed to meet clients' requirements.
Effective contribution to your team through coaching and development of junior members and engaging with the broader agency through active participation in agency initiatives and shared client accounts.
Responsibilities
- Able to autonomously manage day to day client relationships - with support from the team where required
- Makes recommendations based on a thorough understanding of clients' business and category
- Manages client expectations and timelines externally and internally - raising concerns in a timely manner
- Delivers measurable digital media plans to support clients' business objectives (e.g., timing requirements, budget requirements, business requirements)
- Engaging, supporting and influential team member - working effectively with other internal and external teams to ensure high quality of product delivery from start to finish and client expectations are met
- Stays current with emerging digital/marketing approaches and identifies competitive digital trends and identifies opportunities (e.g. New targeting/technology opportunities etc)
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualified, supplemented by 4-5+ years of strong digital planning and buying experience in an agency
- Good understanding of planning fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities across several channels
- Active participation in creative sessions and workshops
- Ability to consider stakeholders' requirements and their issues in problem solving and decision making
- Ability to challenge others (internal, client or creative agency) using appropriate approach and diplomacy to secure desired outcome
- Confident and articulate presenter
- Ability to coach and mentor junior members of the team
- Encourages positive agency culture and cross agency collaboration and integration
- Future focused
