Site Trainers

We have some exciting learning & development opportunities for motivated trainers to join our team on a fixed term basis.

We have day and night shift vacancies available in Te Puke and Katikati

These are hands-on roles responsible for conducting site inductions and providing role specific training to our production teams to ensure they have a thorough understanding of Zespri grade standards and follow best practice fruit handling requirements for grading, packing, stacking and tray preparation.

You will need to maintain a good understanding of production line operations to regularly conduct competency and proficiency checks, so our teams are set up to succeed

You will also need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well within a diverse workforce.  You will be responsible for training employees where English may not be their first language.
• You will need to be confident to effectively present information to both small and large groups of people.
• To be able to problem-solve and react quickly to changing circumstances.   A high level of resilience
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills in order to meet multiple deadlines.
• A good understanding and awareness of health and safety obligations and lead by example.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends as required.
