We are currently seeking an experienced full-time and part-time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade at Cordis Auckland

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the smooth and efficient running of your allocated kitchen section
  • Supporting Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs to complete allocated tasks on time, and training them to run different sections in your absence
  • Maintaining a high level of functionality and efficiency, including sound food cost control practices
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained in line with HACCP standards within the kitchen and your section

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a 5 star hotel environment
  • An up-to-date food hygiene certificate
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment
  • Level 4 or equivalent cookery certificate
