About the Role:
Working in a collaborative team environment the Consulting Anaesthetist will provide exceptional anaesthetic services within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and nursing staff to patients.
The Consulting Anaesthetist will ensure that patient care is centred safe and timely.
Skills & Qualifications required:
- FANZCA (or equivalent)
- Relevant Leadership experience
- Must hold qualifications that meet the criteria for vocational registration or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing specialist-level anaesthetic services
- Fostering of relationships with colleagues and other hospital specialists
- Providing clinical leadership supervision and teaching of junior medical staff
- Participating in clinical meetings and safety activities.
- Providing care for all age groups.
- There are several full-time permanent positions available working 80 hours per fortnight.
