The Role

We are looking for passionate chefs who are keen to learn and be part of an awesome team. This is a part time role of about of about 15-25 hrs; it is likley to flex up to around 40hrs in the busy season in December and for the right candidate once you have learnt all sections this could morph into full time work in the longer term. The hours of work are between 5pm and 9pm with prep shifts starting earlier in the day.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Making each dish according to recipe, following the recipe to 100%.
  • Setting kitchen up for busy periods.
  • Assisting the kitchen manager as required.
  • Ensuring stock is rotated to minimize wastage and kept and correct temperatures.
  • Ensuring prep and ordering lists are always being completed each day.

Skills / Experience

You will be required to work as efficiently as possible, in a busy team environment, so great communication skills will give you instant bonus points. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to jump-start their cooking career but doesn't know where to begin.
