The Role

We're looking for an experienced excavator operator who takes pride in precision work and can consistently deliver high-quality results.

This role is not suited to trainees or entry-level operators, proven experience and confidence in final trim work is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating excavators across a range of civil projects
  • Completing final trim to ±10mm
  • Preparing surfaces for asphalt and concrete
  • Working in varied environments and site conditions
  • Communicating clearly with supervisors, crews, and clients
  • Solving problems on the go as site conditions change

What We're Looking For

  • Proven excavator operating experience
  • Strong final trim skills (to 10mm)
  • Understanding of surface prep for asphalt and concrete
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers
